The project researches werewolf transformations through ritual-workshops, performative movement and film. This is no Hollywood trope glorification, but an animist reflection on identity.

These claws shine into belonging is a series of experiments on creating queer animist mythologies. The werewolf transformations become a framework for expanding the self, questioning normativity and reconnecting our bodies’ rhythm to nature’s cyclicity.
This is the main focus of this series, tackled through a couple of theoretical and embodiment approaches, such as somatic healing, nervous system regulation, butoh and mythology.
